- I moved to Jaffa seven years ago, and have loved every minute of it! My friends know that when I start grinning like a fool I am about to say... "I love my neighbourhood!" or something very similar. I have been a chef in Canada, a scuba diving instructor in Grand Cayman, a vagrant in India, a house painter in Florida, and have wandered around whenever and wherever I could. All ceramics and pottery on this site are handmade by me.

Ooiiy. that's a good question. My first guess would be an anemone. My second guess would be some leftover prop from a sci-fi movie.

An upside down view of a jellyfish.
Good guesses one and all - but not in the ballpark... These are good eaten raw, don't sting, though very rarely you can get one that will make you pucker a bit... They are in the etrog family...
