A Device of Interest

I saw this machine in the Flea Market yesterday.

I have seen many old sewing machines, hacksaws with rusty blades, cellphones (of indeterminate origin), mixers, blenders, keys, pots and pans, but this, in my opinion, is one of the prettiest, and most interesting devices I have seen so far.

But this ice grating machine is one that made me wish I had a bigger house. It was pure form and function, in its original colours, patented and proud of it.

Wouldn't you want one of these?

Hey BB,
One day my ship will come in and I will be able to find space, and money, for one of these... until then, I can dream can't I? 8^)

....dreams can come true, it can happen to you la la la [with perhaps the results of a lucky '6/49'? ask your mom or dad].

make space. cram it in. :-]

Hey BB,
I have other priorities right now - like a new oven... and I did buy myself a lottery ticket this week - didn't get me a cent!

lucky for you there is a choice, the hobs are gas or lektrik. which colour would you choose? i am boring -- first choice is stainless, second black. i would only opt for one with a gas line with that beauty. i love the vaulted ovens and warmers. {big grin}.

btw, seven thousand 9 hundred ninety-five, click, seven thousand 9 hundred ninety-six, click..... LOL

Hey BB,
Absolutely no question about it being gas - cook with anything else? pshaw!

I have to admit to a fondness for cobalt blue enamel - but I have loved the colour for as long as I remember - Vick's Vaporub jar blue...

My ideal kitchen would be gleaming white with stainless steel and cobalt blue. Sigghhhhhhh...

shared sigh.......

forgot about that cobalt blue vic's container. gawd, how that stuff stank!! somehow, you'd always go back to it though. LOL.
