Night Trippin' - Part the Second

This is where I was last night... beautiful but challenging.

We set out from Tel Aviv at 22h00 and drove south-southeast to the Judean desert and the Dead Sea.

This being an Israeli version of a class trip there was lots of food and drink and even a reasonable number of opportunities to use the hygienic facilities.

Our main goal, other than to enjoy ourselves, was to watch the sun rise from Masada.

This is the end result of a long night out walking in the desert.

It also explains why this post is so short - trying to write anything remotely amusing after only 2 hours sleep in the past 42 hours means my hands are shaking over the keyboard and my brain, like a bad Las Vegas hypnotist is saying "you will go to sleep, you will go to sleep, you will go to sleep.
